Ariana Grande's new album "Eternal Sunshine" ends with a personal ballad called "Ordinary Things." AdvertisementIf Ariana Grande's new album "Eternal Sunshine" has a moral, it won't be found on the club-ready lead single "Yes, and?" It's the most intimate moment on Grande's seventh album, "Eternal Sunshine," released Friday, and it all came together with the help of Nick Lee. Lee, who is credited as a coproducer on "Ordinary Things," made the song's original beat with his friend Luka Kloser. "Intro (End of the World)" and "Ordinary Things" frame the album as a sacred quest to find peace and romantic clarity.

"Ordinary Things" was always meant to be the album's final song. Kevin Mazur/AMA2016/WireImage"I knew 'Ordinary Things' was the end of the album," Grande told Lowe. "But I wonder, how I can put that button on it and have it land emotionally the way that I feel it can? Grande found the answer in the middle of a 40-minute voice recording of her grandmother, Marjorie Grande, whom she calls "Nonna." Grande and Nonna are both credited as lyricists, while Grande is also credited as a coproducer alongside Martin, Luka Kloser, and Nick Lee.

Read previewSome fans of Ariana Grande are calling out Big Sean and Jhené Aiko following the release of her new album, "Eternal Sunshine." Grande admonished her fans in an Instagram Stories post on Saturday, just one day after the album hit streaming sites. "Eternal Sunshine" is Grande's seventh album and her first one since 2020, prompting substantial fanfare from her fans. Business Insider's Callie Ahlgrim reported that the album's name derives from Michel Gondry's 2004 film "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." Big Sean has been romantically linked to both women — and Grande's album shares the same name as a song from Aiko's 2014 album, "Souled Out."

However, Grande did "Eternal Sunshine" a disservice with its title and marketing. But asked if she planned to "address things" with "Eternal Sunshine," Grande demurred. Sure, you could say that Grande doesn't owe us honesty or specificity, and you might be right. As a staunch believer in the album as an art form, "Eternal Sunshine" left me wanting. But if I reframe "Eternal Sunshine" as a collection of excellent pop songs, I have very few complaints.

"The biggest mistake couples make is not owning what's going on," she says. But, it'll save you lots of money and time if you simply cut out the middle man, Wasser says. Couples will often use lawyers to hash out tedious requests, most of which don't require any legal expertise. The average price of an uncontested divorce is between $1,500 and $5,500, according to reporting by CNBC. "I'm not saying divorce lawyers are evil people," she says.

Read previewAriana Grande confirmed fan suspicions on Wednesday when she announced the title of her seventh album: "Eternal Sunshine." The coordinates led to Montauk, New York, a key location in the 2004 sci-fi film "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." But the promise of a "spotless mind," free of anger and heartache, is too enticing. My very first viewing of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" occurred in 2010, when I was 14. The "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" is, in short, a lie.

Courtesy of Neil FavilaMusic video director Hannah Lux Davis grew up watching TRL and always loved music videos. I took out a student loan to pay for my first two official music videos. I always loved music videos and was very passionate about them. I grew up watching MTV's music video show "TRL," and was inspired to be a director by music videos from Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Christina Aguilera, and Janet Jackson. They assume some artists get more money for a video, so they're comparing their videos to other artists' videos.
